Product Description

Down hill skate helmet.

The m-6 is the next in line of our very popular vector series. This helmet is the result of many months of careful design and cooperation with downhill skaters and street lugers in the community. This truly is the helmet that is designed by skaters for skaters.
The sleek aerodynamic shape allows for better air flow, and the unique low nose feature gives you a perfect field of view compared to any other helmet currently available. But don't take our word for it, watch the video below and see what skaters are saying about the m-6 Down hill skate helmet.

All of our vector helmets are designed with your safety in mind. We use 4 layers of high strength fiberglass and 1 layer of K3 carbon fiber to ensure maximum durability and safety (see gallery). We also added 2 extra layers of fiberglass in the critical impact zones (frontal lobe, top-left and right, rear cranial, and rear neck - see pics below), which give you a total of 6 layers in the impact zones and 8-10 layers in the overlapping areas for added strength. This allows us to make a helmet that is both super-light and super-strong at the same time. It also enables us to pass higher certifications, ATSM1492 and ATSM1952 , even though these certifications are not required for Downhill skate helmets.

WE ALWAYS PUT YOUR SAFETY FIRST. We go the extra mile to ensure our helmets save lives. READ THIS.

Our helmets offer the best possible vision - they were designed to be ideal for aerodynamic tucking in downhill skateboarding without straining your neck and the ultimate forward view for street luge. The visors have a unique 3-point locking mechanism that allows them to stay safely closed at high speed or to remain open when you need more air.

The new generation visor locks are made of high strength POM (Polyoxymethylene), also known as plastic steel. This significantly reduces the chance or breaking upon impact. Just simply rotate forward to unlock and back to lock (pliers are recommended).

The inner liners and cheek pads are super comfortable. All liners can be removed and washed. We have 5 different sizes to ensure the perfect fit.

New D-style chin strap will keep the helmet safely on your head.

Our helmets are one of the lightest in the industry, offering maximum comfort to the riders.

To determine the best fit for your helmet, measure the circumference of your head. If you are between sizes, go with the larger size. If you're not happy with the fit, we'll swap out your pads for you.

  1. Strongest helmet I've ever rode. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Dec 2015

Over my luge career, I've used a dozen different helmet makes and models. Some large and heavy, some small and flimsy, but none were a combination of both that were purpose built for downhill. Until the Vector series. This past season, I upgraded from an M6 to the carbon M6, and LOVED IT! It has the best combination of strength, visibility and size on the market, along with a price point that is comparable that beats other downhill helmets. I highly recommend this helmet to both pro and beginner riders.
